Introduction

We learned a lot in 2020. We learned to be adaptable when the pandemic arrived, closing workplaces and changing where many people worked. We learned to be more aware and accepting of others when the racial tensions increased. We learned the importance of self-care and found new ways to work out when gyms closed. We learned to be more compassionate and caring for the people around us by staying safe. And we learned that there is nothing more important than our health.

While we all yearn for our lives to return to ‘normal,’ we know that change is constant.

Flexibility is the ability to respond to changing circumstances. In the workplace, a flexible mindset is the essential business skill both employees and organizations need to embrace in the face of a changing world.
